The car is okay but the delivery process was quite a surprise. I was expecting someone to walk me through the car and show me the buttons, etc. It turned out a driver dropped off the car when it was dark (after 6 PM). I had to park the car and waited until the next day to really check it visually. Another surprise was the absence of electric seats. I have been a BMW owner for many years and I don't recall owning a beamer with manual seats and manually folded mirrors. There's also a moving part underneath the front passenger seat which I haven't had time to have fixed till today. I think it's what people call cultural difference. Other than these the car is good to drive.

On 4th November my world went very awry. My faithful Mini had failed to start & I was reliant on the AA to get me started & to the garage. Great service by the way. I already knew I had about £2k worth of work to do on the car already if it was going to pass it’s MOT in Feb, so I was hoping for a quick/cheap fix. Alas another £1.5k needed to just get me going again. I had been contemplating getting a new car since the dreaded £2k quote & it seemed the universe had the same idea. Within a day they sourced my new car, got my finances sorted & even personally drove my car to my house, 2 weeks to the day that my world went awry. Which considering I live at the end of the world was brilliant. I now have an almost new Kia Stonic (2022 reg) which I’ve had immense fun driving around. Bombing up & down the country roads near me. It’s so good. It’s been a week & I’ve no regrets. The Mini has gone to a local as a project & I have the newest car I’ve ever owned sitting on my driveway.
